What you need to complete a quote

Minimum required

A CAD file, material, thickness, quantity, finish and pickup or delivery choice. Dimensions and production instructions should be included in the drawing or job notes.

01

CAD drawing

Upload a DXF, DWG, STEP or STP file for each part or revision. Draw at 1:1 scale in millimetres.

02

Material and thickness

Nominate the material grade or alloy and sheet thickness. Tell us if an equivalent stocked material is acceptable.

03

Part size

Show the finished length, width and height, or the flat blank size if known. Mark any dimensions that are critical.

04

Quantity

Enter the number required for each part. Note whether it is a one-off job, a batch or likely to repeat.

05

Finish

Choose raw, deburred, brushed, polished, powder coated or another finish. Include a colour or finish code when available.

06

Production details

Show bend lines and angles. Call out tolerances, threads, inserts, welding or other work that needs review.

Not sure about a detail? Submit what you have and explain the gap in the job notes. Complex work, missing dimensions and special processes go to the factory team for review before acceptance.

Final submission details

Have your contact details and project or PO reference ready. Delivery jobs also need the delivery address. You will confirm design responsibility and production terms before submitting.
