Getting a clean fast quote

Clear geometry and complete manufacturing notes help the system process the job without a clarification loop.

DXF and DWG for flat parts

Export at 1:1 scale in millimetres. Keep one closed profile for each cut edge, remove duplicate lines and avoid title-block geometry inside the cutting layer. Note the material, gauge and quantity in the form rather than encoding them in a filename alone.

STEP and STP for formed parts

Three-dimensional files are accepted for cut-and-fold requests. Include a drawing or notes for critical dimensions, bend intent, finish faces and tolerances. Formed geometry and flat patterns are checked before production release.

Common causes of a clarification

  • Open or overlapping profiles
  • Missing bend directions or angles
  • Threads represented as cut geometry
  • No material or gauge selection
  • Tight tolerances without a functional reason

Accepted uploads

.DXF · .DWG · .STEP · .STP

Up to ten files, with a 25 MB limit per file. Files are stored privately and reviewed as untrusted input. No uploaded content is executed or rendered as HTML.
