Getting a clean fast quote
Clear geometry and complete manufacturing notes help the team check the work without a clarification loop.
DXF and DWG for flat parts
Export at 1:1 scale in millimetres. Keep one closed profile for each cut edge, remove duplicate lines and avoid title-block geometry inside the cutting layer. Note the material, gauge and quantity in the form rather than encoding them in a filename alone.
STEP and STP for formed parts
Three-dimensional files are accepted and always held for engineering review. Include a drawing or notes for critical dimensions, bend intent, finish faces and tolerances. We do not claim automated feature recognition or automatic flat-pattern approval in Intake Mode.
Common causes of a clarification
- Open or overlapping profiles
- Missing bend directions or angles
- Threads represented as cut geometry
- No material or gauge selection
- Tight tolerances without a functional reason
