Customer information

Design responsibility

What the customer confirms when supplying a production drawing.

Your design and files

The customer is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and suitability of the supplied design, geometry, dimensions, tolerances, bend information, material selection and intended use. Files should be production-ready and must clearly identify the correct revision.

What the basic review covers

Our basic production review checks that the supplied files and order selections can enter the requested cutting or folding workflow. It is not a design-for-manufacture service, engineering review, design verification or certification. Those services are not included in the online price unless separately quoted in writing.

Issues in supplied information

If we notice an obvious inconsistency, incomplete file or manufacturing concern, we may pause the order and request clarification. This check does not guarantee that every file, design or suitability issue will be identified. We assess completed work against the accepted customer file and written production details, subject to applicable law.

Critical requirements

Identify safety-critical dimensions, presentation faces, bend intent, mating parts and functional tolerances before accepting the quote. Structural suitability must be established by a suitably qualified person where applicable.

Changes

Any drawing revision after acceptance may require a new review, quote and production timing.
